During the last couple months I have been transferring my email list over to a new system.
In this process I offered a free social – website assessment to one of my subscribers who took action during a specific amount of time. Many of you did take action and I thank you for participating.

She and I have started on her assessment and will be covering many of the main topics we look at when assessing if a client’s site is optimized as much as possible for website visitors, for taking action to signup, contact you and learn about the business.
It is surprising how many people (and I have done it too) don’t always check their own site and look at it from the point of view of a potential client visiting the site.
I am guilty too! I have almost decided that a quarterly – or even monthly – website checkup is needed to stay on top of things that can slip through the cracks.
In fact just the other day I discovered that one of my optin pages was missing some very important code that placed the subscriber on the proper autoresponder list in my email marketing system. I had other ways as a backup but it is possible some people have missed out on this info. (Yes, I am sending a notice this week to the list to check).
Website Assessments are one of my favourite services we provide because I have never had a client who did not need several ‘fixings’ and then saw fabulous results once they were updated. One client emailed me two weeks ago to let me know that:
“For the first time ever, they had people call who had a much better idea of what their services can do for clients. She booked a session with them immediately.”
The client understood because of some of the copy changes we made on the home page and the services page – simple yet effective changes.
