LinkedIn, without a doubt, is the “professional social media channel”. It is the place for business people, professionals and especially recruiters.
If your target market includes, business professionals, executives and people in corporate… LinkedIn is a must in your online marketing plan.
Just this week they have announced something new to their features…. Video. Native video, not just video from outside sources like YouTube. This will be similar to Facebook’s Live Video option and you can read more about it on the LinkedIn Blog.
LinkedIn’s videos will start with 30-second videos and for now, they have started by inviting 500 Influencers the option to share content via video as they tend to do with new feature releases. Then once the bugs are worked out they will most likely roll it out to all users.
They will play directly in the newsfeed (same as Facebook) so watch for the videos in your newsfeed and try commenting on them – check them out. The best way to learn how something new works is to try it out.
