When you find yourself working nights and weekends, you may want to do a reality check on your time and your calendar.
If you are not being as honest with yourself as you should when it comes to what you can truly accomplish in your workday that could be the very cause of those late nights and the exhaustion and stress that comes with it.
WHY? Because how you plan that time will also affect how you live the rest of your days.
In this episode, we’ll talk about how you can plan your ideal week, because when you take time to do this activity, the reality of time tends to come to life! And light!
There is an exercise I do with some clients and program members that is often very enlightening when it comes to why it seems like there is never enough time in the day.
When we do this, it tends to open their eyes as to why they’ve been struggling with getting work done.
Listen in to this episode as I walk you through the elements I have my clients do when they are working on this exercise of creating their Ideal Week.
You will learn:
- Why you’re not getting all of the items on your task list done and working late hours.
- The 5 elements to factor into planning your ideal week.
- Why you need to be aware of certain types of work that can derail you every day and how to manage it.
- 6 types of events to include in planning your ideal week.
- The Mantra you need to repeat daily to ensure you continue to keep that Ideal Week happening.
Most importantly, as you do this exercise yourself, you will need to be honest with yourself about your time so you can stop spinning your wheels and working all hours of the day – and into the night – just to get everything done! That’s not ideal – just the opposite so let’s get a reality check on your time and your calendar so you can Thrive vs just getting by!
