Do you celebrate your Business Successes? What about Life and Personal Success?
It’s a trait that can be hard for many to develop, but really we should. We need to say – “Hey I did good” to ourselves more often… and others. I know for me I kind of hide my success in business and life and I think it’s a trend of many people – more importantly women. We tend to be very humble. Especially us Canadians – we are humble to start with!
At 47 years of age, I am finally coming into being able to voice and share my success. And it feels great!!! 
- I have a fabulous family, husband, 3 great children and am proud of them all. Success Check 1
- I have been in business over 5 years now. Success Check 2
- I have continued to grow my business and am also seen as a leader in my industry. Success Check 3
- I have helped mentor many others to do the same. Success Check 4
- I like to give back to my community and volunteer in any areas. Success Check 5
There is a lot more to it and some are more in depth, but you get the idea. Our celebrations of success are there for the taking. Take them, Grab them and Say them out loud. Share them. Celebrate what you have done in life and business – you will find yourself with more energy and motivation when you do this – because you can see what can happen and can see how to make even more success possible.
I recently had an interview with CEED – the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Education and Development here in Halifax. It is where I started my business through a small business training program they offered. One of my goals is to help them as they help others like me. It was a day of talking and sharing info about me and my business and where I have grown it all from when I started there in 2008. I recommend you also learn more about CEED, which is a fabulous business and resource for any business owner in Nova Scotia – new or established as they have many supports to offer. Hopefully there are other such resources in your area – seek them out and find out. I really give a lot of credit to the business training I received from CEED. It truly helped launch me as a successful business owner.
Now that I have achieved a lot of success, I continue to celebrate them all – no matter how big or small.
