No one is perfect, mistakes will happen and sometimes you need to laugh at them, and yourself.

Warning: Drinking coffee while reading these stories can be harmful to your shirt! 🙂

This past week I have been trying to balance everything and of course, that means something will get screwed up. But I am happy to say I did not burn any pots. Okay today I technically did burn the gluten-free rice pasta – a new thing for me- in a pot, but since there was no smoke, no burnt on to the bottom crap, I consider it a win.

I did have a doozy of a typo on a Facebook Group I am part of and it made a couple of ROFL and ROFLMAO moments in the group, but all’s well that ends well. (Let’s just say that I was truly surprised I typed Sh!t instead of Site – that is not often a typo I make.)

Truly, if you cannot laugh at these moments, who will? More importantly, will the world end? NO! And for the record, no one is perfect. Sometimes I think we need to hear other people’s stories of mess-ups, mix-ups, typos, and even burnt pots so that we know that we are all in the same boat. We all mess up from time to time and when you do, take it in context. You might actually brighten someone else’s day by sharing.

So, today’s lesson is simply a few funny stories I have experienced and shared, and proof no one is perfect! I seem to have built up a little following of people who enjoy my funny stories that help them brighten their day.

Enjoy the stories, have a little laugh – today’s lessons is simply about taking time to laugh… and learning that we can all make mistakes, and no one is perfect.

Sadly, this is not the only time I have fallen off a chair in public.

This next one is about 9 years old but still funny. The posts under are the tweets and Facebook posts I got when I returned from the rink.

Poor Marshall, this was a bad, bad texting day!

Looking back, I have a lot of problems making coffee, maybe the Keurig needs to come back to my kitchen.

Oh this one… the day I tried to have my kid hide the burnt pots from my mom!

Once again, my voice to text failed me…

I hope you had a little chuckle with these …. have a fabulous week and remember, no one is perfect, and when you make a mistake, figure out what can you learn from it – or how can you have fun with it?   Now, if you have some funny stories of your own… post them on my Facebook Page and I will have a prize for the person with the best ROFL story!
